Argie Cannon Service Award
Soror ARGIE CANNON loved our chapter and was a great supporter of the PCAC DELTA ACADEMY/ GEM PROGRAMS. She always made sure they had what they needed to be successful. In honor of her memory, we have have established The Argie Cannon Service Award. Each year, a service award will be presented to the Delta Academy/GEM participant who exhibits the ideas of the program. Please click the link below to donate.
Gladys Ross Sanders Scholarship
The Gladys Ross Sanders Scholarship is a collaborative effort between the Pitt County Alumnae Chapter and the Sanders Family Foundation. The scholarship which is given on an annual bases is awarded to a student who attends one of the following high schools in Pitt County: Ayden,- Grifton, D H Conley, Farmville Central , North Pitt, South Central and The Pitt County Schools Early College High School located on the campus of Pitt Community College.
The Gladys Ross Sanders Scholarship is given in honor Soror Sanders who was an outstanding educator in the Pitt County Schools and a Charter Member of the Pitt County Alumnae Chapter. Soror Sanders served in many capacities in the Pitt County Alumnae and Greenville (NC) Alumnae Chapters. Her legacy in Delta lives on through her daughter Soror Patti Sanders-Smith, also a Charter Member and Past Chapter President. The Sanders Foundation donates yearly to the assure the funds are available to award the scholarship.
